what to do if your stuck with a costco sized tub of cottage cheese
green fluff (pink fluff in todays case) is what i make when my parents leave behind a whole tub of cottage cheese! i used strawberry jello this time and it is SOOOOO yummy!! you can even use sugar free jello if your counting calories! i'm a little weird and even like to use marshmallows that are little hard. at first they make it chewy, but by the next day the texture is just the same as fresh marshmallows. thanks mom and dad for not eating all of your cottage cheese! and thanks ra for the yummy recipe!!

our first christmas
projects
while my parents were here they helped us with a few projects (really i wasn't much help, they did it all)!! they painted our master bedroom and sitting room, helped re-model our laundry room (paint, crown molding, chair rail, put up cabinets and tiled the countertops, marble tile no less!), put up crown molding in our master bath and laundry room and i'm sure would have done more if they had the time. (we still have a few finishing touches to do, but probably won't get around to it for a while.) thanks mom and dad for the wonderful additions to our home and for the fun christmas memories!!! we love you!

jack did a great job decorating our tree and really got into it. nate helped too, but mainly just wanted to climb the ladder and fall onto the tree. jack was really sad that he couldn't put the big star on top. we told him someday he would be tall enough, maybe even taller than daddy (he liked that)!

turkey day
we had a wonderful, relaxing thanksgiving and didn't even eat any turkey! we went untraditional and had ham and crabcakes. we didn't do anything but eat, relax, hang out and watch movies. the kellers were great company and made our holiday weekend very enjoyable! jack and katelyn couldn't get enough of each other and they loved playing monster with nate. nate was a good sport and played the monster role well! thank you dave, chantel, katelyn and carson for making our thanksgiving wonderful!
the kids watched dora while they ate so we could enjoy our yummy food. i had the table set for them to eat with us, but it was much more enjoyable this way!
