stink face

asher pulls this face all of the time!!! we call it a stink face, but it probably needs a new name. he does it to make us laugh and isn't being a stinker at all. not only does he pull this face, but he breaths in and out of his nose super fast and really gets us all laughing. he is such a fun, silly baby and really makes our life happier!

naps

my 2 older boys don't EVER take naps except for the occasional doze in the car if we are going for a long drive. i put aj down for his 2nd nap and came out to jack asleep right by the door with his bobbie and horsey. the house was soooo quiet, so i had a feeling nate must have fallen asleep too. i started searching for him. checked just about everywhere. noted the front door child lock was still on and the sliders had their lock bar down. i finally found him in the front room hiding to the side or the sofa, under the side table all curled up. he was totally out and neither of them budged while i snapped some shots!! my silly boys will probably be up all night, but at least i had a few minutes of peace and quiet!

i think they have a little too much excitement with their new bunkbeds!

happy 4th

we like to be cheesy just like monica. maybe i should have been a school teacher so i would have an excuse to dress according to holidays!! hopefully my boys won't hate me when they are older with all of the embarrassing matching outfit pics!!!

cozy

the cozy coupe is definitely a contender for a #1 toy at our house! all the boys have loved it and still do. aj has been enamored by it for some time and finally figured out how to climb in. he was so happy and excited to finally get himself in the cozy coupe!

explorer

we now have a little explorer on our hands! i like the 6-9month stage where they sit in one place (well at least mine do, they are little lumps until around 9mon). i was sort of dreading this, but forgot how fun it is when they explore!! the gates are out and we've sort of baby proofed. yesterday i heard a loud cough/clearing of throat sound and then found ash with a wallflower taken apart. he must have put the little fragrant spongy part in his mouth because he definitely didn't like the taste and was trying to spit and cough to get rid of it. i washed him up and fed him to get rid of the taste, but there was still a hint of strawberry flavor to him! ash bash has so much fun following his big brothers around and chasing after balls and cars!! this mobile thing isn't so bad after all!

confession

i've never been a big fan of reality tv. in fact, i could probably count the times i've watched any of them on 1 hand! that being said, i'm hooked on this season of bachelorette!!! maybe because ryan p. is from my home town and went to my high school. or maybe because bentley is shockingly entertaining and controversial. whatever the case, i'm making my confession that i'm sucked in and will be watching the whole season!!! if anyone wants to discuss the details, talk about the villain they've made bentley out to be or have a bachelorette night at my house, let me know!!!
