green hats and snow day

my mom got to see some snow while she was out here!! it was our first real snow for the year, but it's almost gone and will for sure be gone by the weekend. it will be in the 70's tomorrow! yippee! here are some pics of gran with silly nate!

early easter

my mom did an easter egg hunt with the boys while she was here! even though jack was sick, they both had a blast! jack is begging to find more eggs, so we've been hiding eggs with healthy snacks (vitamins, raisans, crackers, mangos, cheese)! thanks mom for all the fun we had while you were here! jack has already been begging to go to papa's house and nate keeps signing and calling your name!

cheese smile

we have been trying to get a good picture of the cheese smile (the funny smile where he wrinkles his nose, squints his eyes, shows his teeth and makes a cheese sound with his mouth) for a while. here are a few shots, but they don't do justice to the real thing!

pajama day

some days it's just nice to stay in pj's all day, especially when it's cold! nate is having a blast feeding jack and yes, i sometimes (ok, a lot) feed the kids down in the basement instead of at the kitchen table!

christmas vacation

i know it's been almost a month, but better late than never right? we had a great time in california over the holidays. jack and nate especially had fun with papa, gran, aunts, uncles and cousin levi!

my baby sister got engaged over the christmas holiday!!!! yippeee, we are so excited for you!! rhett will be a great addition to the family, he's a great match for monica and they are so cute together! congrats, we love you both!

holiday weight loss tips

for any of you who may have gained a little holiday weight, i have just the trick for you!

a week long stomach flu (probably rotavirus)!!!!!!!!

works great on adults, even if you get a milder case like johne did, you will still loose weight because you really don't want to eat for a week. the violent cases work the best. you get a nice colon cleanse and it clears everything out of your system. no need to pay the big bucks like the hollywood stars do!

how to get it: well, i don't think we are contagious anymore so you will probably have to go to cali to get it. although we could have infected some poor souls on our flight home!
