the very HOT wedding day

here are a few pics of rhett and monica's wedding day. it was very very hot, about 105 degrees for a high. the week and a half before was perfect mid 80's weather then that weekend it decided to get hot. i guess thats fresno for ya! monica was a champ though, i never saw a drip of sweat on her! she was gorgeous throughout the whole thing! it was a beautiful wedding and we are so happy for rhett and monica!!!

Mother's Day 2009

(JohnE Post) I hijacked Rochelle's blog so that everyone who follows her will know how much I love her. Happy Mother's Day Rochelle. Rochelle is an amazing mom. She sacrifices all for our two boys. Our boy are never neglected. And I would say they are spoiled. She takes care of me too. Today i'm eating yummy homemade cookie dough ice cream. You are special Rochelle.

johne and i just celebrated our 8th anniversary, wow time sure flies (even more so with kids)!!!  i am not one with words and wish i could describe how much i love and appreciate johne.   he sacrifices so much for our family.  he works (long hours and has a long commute), so that i can stay home with our 2 boys.  it means so much to me to have the opportunity to be a stay at home mom!!  he gets up very early, works hard all day, then comes home and immediately plays with the boys! they both get soooooo excited (running to him, hopping, skipping, dancing, shouting with glee) to see daddy.   everything he does is for the benefit of me and the 2 boys.  johne treats me like a queen and i am so thankful for all that he does!  i love you johne!!!!!

fun with family

we had so much fun with grandma and grandpa gledhill, uncle brett, aunt alisa and cousin carter!!! we wish they could have stayed longer! we had some rainy days and some really nice days. the boys really loved all of the extra attention!!!

easter suits

we didn't get any good pics of any of us on easter sunday. we were busy napping, cooking, cleaning and getting ready for company (johne's fam coming into town!!) here are a couple pics of the boys in their easter suits! to see the unblurry pictures, you'll have to click on each one.

rocketeer

nate begged me to put his crocs on (over his rocket footsie jammies), then came walking up with jack's backpack motioning me to put it on his back. it looks gigantic on him, but he had fun walking around and looking at it in the mirror. nate's always got a cheese smile for the camera!

sick wish

while jack was sick, he was asking in his cute little sickly weak voice, to go to target and pick out a green thomas the train. in the past i have refused to buy thomas the train stuff because it is SOOOO expensive! $11 for 1 little train! johne wanted to surprise him when he got home last night, so he scoured target for a green thomas the train. he found red and blue, but no green. he didn't know how hard green would be to find! he kept looking and looking and finally saw a green one and bought it. johne was excited to get home are surprise jack with his sick wish toy, imagining jack jumping up and down with delight! johne got home, gave jack big hugs and then pulled out the green train. jack had no expression. johne asked if it was the wrong color or was too small. jack said that he wanted a small mini train, but didn't get sad or mad, just went on playing with a couple of (free) 3cc syringes, flying them around like rockets! why do we spend all this money on toys when they like the free non toys!?

ps. we are returning the expensive green thomas the train!
